Gizmodo reports that the latest iPhone OS 4 beta has... tethering!

That will be nice. Now if only ATT would have enabled that a year ago...

It would be smart for ATT to enable tethering. Their voice service is mediocre, but there data access is usually excellent. This would allow them to leverage their strength, and retain more customers.

Tethering is already available for iPhone OS 3 here, but T-Mobile charges 4,95€ (100 MB) / 19,95€ (3 GB) per month :O
